I want lemon French macarons in the worst way, but nobody around here seems to carry them any more. Grr.

I should just figure out how to bake them.

In other news, five minutes to breathe would be lovely. Not happening today, alas.

Good luck--macarons are horribly complex to bake. I saw a recipe, it involved a puff bag, a food processor and very precise instructions. Because the shells are so delicate, they have to be made just right or else they fall apart. I looked at the recipe and then was like "...I think I'll just let someone else bake them for me."

I do have a food processor, so I'm already partway there! Of course, I am sure things would turn into a mess. A tasty, tasty mess. I could order them online but most places I've seen I'd be spending $50 with the shipping, so, uh. No. If I had that much money, I'd go to Dragon*Con. :)

But they ARE delicious. Mmm.
