Argh.

I've decided. I really need to learn to drive. And get my own car. There's too many things I want to do that I can't because I don't have one. And while my husband is willing to drive me around to a certain extent, there's things that he's not comfortable with that I would /really/ like to be able to participate in, and I don't want to ask him to play taxi-cab.

So. Anyone want to teach me to drive on weekends? I've got a learner's permit until October. :) Then I'd have to go renew it. Which means I'll probably have to take a day off of work to go stand in line. Whee.

I think I'll be bad and have not-salad for lunch.

Empty parking lots make a good place to start driving

Once you get a little ways into it, it's well worth it getting lessons - the kind where they have the road test on the end of it is good.
